Saffron is a spice of Iranian origin for more than three thousand years, which is used as a seasoning, perfume, food coloring and key medicine and is the most expensive spice in the world.This product is exchanged at a price of US $ 5,000 per kilogram in the world, but unfortunately it is exported from Iran to other parts of the world at an approximate price of $ 500 per kilogram.Iran is the world’s largest producer of saffron, producing more than 90% of the world’s saffron, with Spain and India in second and third place, respectively.The largest target market for this product is China. It should be noted that 95% of Iranian saffron is produced in the provinces of Khorasan Razavi, South and North.
